HAHN RE-ELECTED TO UBG BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Two outstanding candidates were in the
running for this year’s spot on the UBG Board of Directors; Kenny Hahn,
the incumbent from Planters Cooperative in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma and Kent Prickett from Farmers Grain Co. in Pond Creek, Oklahoma. When the votes
were counted on September 29 by the accounting firm of Meyer, Hoffman, &
McCann, Mr. Hahn was declared the winner. Accordingly, he retains his
seat on the Board and also his position as Chairman of the Board.
United Benefit Group is governed by a five person
Board, each serving a staggered five-year term. Thus, one position
comes up for election each year. In addition to Kenny Hahn, other
current board members are Jim Carlson of First Cooperative, Cherokee,
Iowa; Ed Foster of All Points Cooperative, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Dave
Christiansen of Mid-Kansas Co-op, Moundridge, Kansas; and Stan Stark of
Farmers Cooperative Co., Haviland, Kansas.
